Welcome

The Coimbra International Meeting in Health Sciences and Technology (CIMHealth), on March 13^th – 14^th 2026, is a scientific event aiming to promote high-quality research and foster advances in key research areas of health sciences.

The meeting covers several aspects of clinical and translational research applied to ageing, brain, cardiometabolic, vascular and inflammatory diseases, as well as public health concerns such as sustainability and safety in health systems and the One Health perspective. The highlighted topics aim at a truly integrative perspective in health sciences and technology, from disease mechanisms to clinical applications and societal impact.

The meeting venue is the Coimbra Health School, Polytechnic University of Coimbra, which is part of a dynamic health research community. The Coimbra Health School has a strong commitment to the community, translating the most recent scientific advances into the prevention of disease and the improvement of life quality.

Grounded in such values, the Meeting aims to foster research with a strong impact on disease prevention and life quality promotion, reducing comorbidities and health risks, including occupational and environmental ones.
